Check TextCheck DBMS settings to determine whether organization-defined system state information is being preserved in the event of a system failure. If organization-defined system state information is not being preserved, this is a finding. Fix TextConfigure DBMS settings to preserve any organization-defined system state information in the event of a system failure. CommentsDBMS utilizes service, transaction and audit logs to record the system state. The service log records the DB startup options and the state of the DBs within the service to include the date and time of DB checkpoints and database warnings and errors as to cause of failure. Transaction and audit logs record all actions that occur against a database and can provide cause of failure information.
